Felt bride and groom – Novios de fieltro

¡Wedding stuff again! These are the “bride and groom” from my wedding cake!

After seeing what other options we had, I thought it would be nicer to have them personalized. Moreover, Bubu was already here when we married, and she couldn’t be missing on the top of our cake, obviously! I could personalize the way the figures were dressed, so they are exactly dressed like us that day, isn’t it cool??

These days I’m working on another bride and groom pair (well, there will be three pairs of them, that’s a bit of work… that’s why I haven’t sewn nothing else and I won’t be for a while). Sara and Marc are marrying in June and I have the honor to create the mini-versions of them! I’m one of the very few persons who have seen their outfits for the wedding day, because I want to dress the figures the same way they’ll do that day.

Back to my wedding… If you remember I did my bouquet myself too, so imagine how busy I was the days before the wedding!

In addition to this, I wanted Bubu to wear our rings, so I also made a sort of “ring bracelet”. Fortunately she didn’t try to eat the rings at that time, as she would have tried now…

Y volviendo a mi boda…

Here begins the wedding season soon, so congrats to all those marrying this year!!
