Tropical Unicorn

Mini Bubu keeps asking for dresses day after day… She’s so stubborn, that she still wants to wear summer dresses although the weather is turning slowly fresher. That’s why I had to sew at least one long-sleeved dress for her.

I had this striped fabric Laura (@Con mis manitas) gave me a while ago and I had to use it. They were actually four small remnants, so I had to do the skirt in four pieces.

The pastel colors inspired me for the unicorn.

It’s a recycling project, because the grey French terry I used for the bodice is from old pants of mine (I already used part of them for these leggings), the striped fabric were remnants and the appliqué and the ribbing scraps.

And the pattern is from an Ottobre 1/2016.

Now let’s have a look at Bichito a bichito and Menuda Inspiración.
