Top Crystal (La Maison Victor)

Ya era hora que me cosiera el Top Crystal de La Maison Victor 2/2017. ¡Me enamoró solo de verlo!

He usado una tela viscosa que compré hace casi tres años, en nuestro primer encuentro en Encants con las locas blogueras costureras. ¡Como pasa el tiempo!

Y con este post vuelvo a RUMS, al "yo coso flores" de Pandielleando, y vuelvo al trabajo (mañana).

Mis vacaciones y desconexión han sido fantásticos. Hemos estado tres semanas por el Tirol (austríaco e italiano) y nos hemos traido un montón de recuerdos y buenos momentos para casa.

Fue fantástico volver a ver a Veronika (@Tag für Ideen), esta vez en una montaña 1000 metros más alta que la última vez hace tres años. ¡Ya estamos pensando qué cima a 4000m tenemos que escoger para la próxima cita! ;-)

It was time I sewed the Top Crystal from La Maison Victor 2/2017, I liked it from the very beginning.

I used a rayon with a floral print I bought about three years ago on my first meeting with my best sewing blogger friends. Time flies!!

And with this post I'm back to RUMS, and back to work (tomorrow).

My holidays were really nice though. We had fantastic days in Tyrol (Austria and Italy), and we've brought home a lot of nice memories. It was fantastic seeing Veronika (@Tag für Ideen) again, on the top of a mountain as usual, but this time 1000 m higher than three years ago. We'll have to find a 4000 m high mountain for next time!!

Endlich habe ich das Top Crystal von La Maison Victor 2/2017 genäht! Es war Liebe aus dem ersten Blick!

Dafür hab ich Viskose verwendet. Die hatte ich schon lange im Schrank, seit unserem ersten Treffen mit meinen lieben Nähbloggerinnen und -freundinnen, fast drei Jahre her.

Und mit diesem Post bin ich wieder operativ, heute im RUMS, morgen an der Arbeit!

Mein Urlaub war aber wunderbar. Wir sind drei Wochen in Tirol und Südtirol gewesen, und wir sind zurück mit einem Koffer voller schönen Erinnerungen.

Es war fantastisch, Veronika (@Tag für Ideen) wieder zu sehen, auf einem Berg, wie gewöhnlich für uns, aber diesmal 1000 m höher als vor drei Jahren. Wir müssen uns überlegen, welchen 4000er wir nächstes Mal besteigen!! ;-) Und vielen Dank für deine tolle Geschenke!!

Falda pantalón – Coulottes

Hace cosa de unas semanas estaba yo andando por la ciudad y hacía tanto calor, que entré a respirar un poco en una tienda de ropa archiconocida con el aire acondicionado a todo trapo. Hacía mil años que no pisaba una tienda de ropa de mujer (hará esos mismos mil años que no me he comprado nada para mi), y tengo que reconocer que me sentí bastante incómoda, incluso noté que el vigilante me miraba raro, como si sospechara que era una infiltrada, jajajaja.

Entonces me fijé en una falda pantalón floreada muy mona. Menos de 10 euros y ni siquiera estaba rebajada. 

Debió ser el calor o qué sé yo, el caso es que no me la llevé. Bueno, lo que pasó es que vi a una chica china haciéndolas (made in China ponía), sí sí, a lo “en ocasiones veo muertos” de “El sexto sentido”, y se me quitaron las ganas. Va a ser que el “qué sé yo” era mi conciencia moral.

Total, que al llegar a casa encontré la tela perfecta para copietear (ahí dejé la ética en la puerta) la falda a mi manera.

Usé un patrón de un mono del libro “Tuniques et robes. Tome 2” como guía, para la curva del tiro básicamente. Aquí me reí de lo grande que parecía antes de hacer los pliegues. Cosí cinco trabillas para el cinturón, pero no bolsillos… :_( Fui tan rápido al coser que me los olvidé, y eso que me había hecho el patrón para ellos…

¡Y ya está!

Ahora de cabeza a RUMS-E, RUMS-D  y a “Yo coso flores” de Pandielleando.

About three weeks ago I was walking in the city and it was so hot that I had to take a fresh breath in a well air-conditioned clothes shop (I haven’t been buying anything for me for ages, so I felt quite awkward, I must say).

There I spotted some nice floral coulottes. Less than 10 Euro, and not even on sale! 

It must have been the heat or something, because I didn’t take them. I imagined a Chinese girl sewing them (they were made in China), and I no longer wanted them. Let’s say “the heat or something” was actually my moral conscience.

Once home, I found the perfect fabric on my stash to sew them myself.

I used a romper pattern of the book “Tuniques et robes. Tome 2” as a guide, for the rise curve basically. Here I laughed at how big it looked like before the pleats. I sewed five belt loops but no pockets :_( I did the whole so quickly that I forgot them…

And that’s all! Do you like it?

Bikini reversible

De vuelta a RUMS con este bikini que hace hace ¡un año!

Las telas, un amor a primera vista, son del mercado. Y como no me podía decantar por una a la hora de hacer el bikini, pues no tuve más remedio que hacerlo reversible, ¡jajajaja!

Hice el patrón yo misma, usando sujetadores y braguitas como guía.

Tanto tiempo para escribir la entrada, y tampoco tiene tanta letra... si es que...

¡A ver si entro en racha y vuelvo a RUMS antes de irme de vacaciones!

 

Back to RUMS with this bikini I made a year ago!

The fabric is from the local market, I fell in love with it when I saw it! And because I couldn’t decide which one to use for the bikini, I did it reversible! Hahaha!

I drafted the pattern myself, using bras and briefs as a guide.

It has taken me so long to get to writing this entry and it’s actually quite short… what a disaster…

Let's see if I can post again before going on holiday!

Plumas indias – Indian headband

Mini Bubu hace mucho el indio. Así que para su cumpleaños ya tenía claro qué hacerle. 

No hay mucho que contar… patrón propio, hecho en fieltro, y ya.

Flamingos

Faldita de flamencos, ¡lista para el verano!

Encontré esta tela en el mercado, otra ganga de las mías, y no me pude resistir.

Patrón hecho al momento, y bolsillos como los de estos shorts de Mi rincón de Mariposas.

Corona de cumpleaños – Birthday Crown

Hace tiempo que no os enseñaba ninguna corona de cumple…

Esta fue para un amigo de Bubu. Celebramos la fiesta juntos, ¡así que quería y tenía que hacerle una corona!

Como de costumbre está hecho con mi patrón gratis, pero en lugar de atarse con una cinta ancha alargué los laterales para que se atara con velcro.

It’s been a long time since I last showed you a birthday crown…

This one was for a friend of Bubu. They celebrated the party together, so I wanted and had to sew one for him!

As usual, it’s made with my free pattern, but instead of tying it with a wide ribbon I lengthened the ends to fasten it with Velcro.

Mi costurero vintage - My vintage Sewing Box

Como os dije en Instagram, me propuse arreglar este necesser / maletín de mi abuela (vintage de verdad, ¡eh! De los años 50). La tela de dentro estaba dañada y se tenia que substituir entera.

Saqué todo el interior y con la ayuda de cartulina y cartón reciclados y la tela de pajaritos (la misma del Louisa Dress), lo rehice entero.

Estoy muy contenta con el resultado. ¡Espero que dure otros 70 años más! ;-)

I told you on Instagram I was going to fix this old travel case (real vintage, from the 50’s, it belonged to my grandmother). The fabric was all damaged inside and it needed to be replaced.

I took the inside out, and used recycled cardboard and the bird fabric (the same of the Louisa Dress) to re-make it all.

I’m very happy with the result. It will make it last 70 years longer! ;-) Do you have this kind of treasures too?
