Mi costurero vintage - My vintage Sewing Box

Como os dije en Instagram, me propuse arreglar este necesser / maletín de mi abuela (vintage de verdad, ¡eh! De los años 50). La tela de dentro estaba dañada y se tenia que substituir entera.

Saqué todo el interior y con la ayuda de cartulina y cartón reciclados y la tela de pajaritos (la misma del Louisa Dress), lo rehice entero.

Estoy muy contenta con el resultado. ¡Espero que dure otros 70 años más! ;-)

¿Vosotros también tenéis algun tesoro de estos?

I told you on Instagram I was going to fix this old travel case (real vintage, from the 50’s, it belonged to my grandmother). The fabric was all damaged inside and it needed to be replaced.

I took the inside out, and used recycled cardboard and the bird fabric (the same of the Louisa Dress) to re-make it all.

I’m very happy with the result. It will make it last 70 years longer! ;-) Do you have this kind of treasures too?

Elmer

Dos Elmers en fieltro. Un buen curro cortando trocitos y cosiéndolos. Algo que tenia ganas de hacer hace tiempo, pero nunca encontraba el momento. Aproveché el cumple de Bubu como excusa, aunque no llegué a tiempo…

Así que uno para ella y otro para un amiguito. Sabía que les encantarían a los dos, así que ha sido un placer hacerlos!

Usé el patrón gratis de Birch Fabrics como base (ya he hecho unos cuantos elefantes en el pasado: aquí, aquí y aquí…).

Two Elmers in felt. Quite a lot of work cutting pieces and sewing them together. It was something I wanted to do time ago, but I never found the time…

One for Bubu and one for a good friend of her. I knew they were going to love the elephant, so it was a real pleasure to sew them.

I used the free pattern of Birch Fabrics as a base (I have sewn a few elephants for babies in the past: here, here and here…).

Alpacas

Vestido “de cumple” para Bubu. En realidad hace mil que lo quería hacer, pero ya me sirvió de regalo…

Tela preciosa de I love Kutchi. Orgánica de Lillestoff.

Y patrón gratis de iCandy Handmade: el Boxy Pleat Dress. Hice las mangas más cortas (más aptas para el verano) y algunos cambios (dobladillo, cuello) para poder practicar con la coverlock, jejejejeje…

Lovely free pattern by iCandy Handmade: the Boxy Pleat Dress. I only made the sleeves a bit shorter and hemmed with the coverlock, because I have to practice! Hahahaha!!

Bags & Elephants…

Pues eso, bolsitas y elefantes… que cosí hace tiempo, pero no había ni enseñado… Los conjuntos fueron regalos a recién nacidas.

Bags and elephants, yes… I sewed them long time ago, but I never posted about them. They were gifts for newborn baby girls.

Y estos dos eran para un nene y una nena. El de la nena aún está esperando conocerla (y ella cumplirá pronto 1 añito… qué desastre…)

And these two were for a baby boy and for a baby girl. The one for the girl is still waiting to meet her… (and she will soon turn 1… what a disaster…)
