Envolviendo regalos... - Wrapping gifts...

Last fabric of my challenge “12 months – 12 fabrics” (organized by Marujadas de Peluchona).

My first move after taking the fabric out of the closet was putting it around my neck as a scarf and showing my daughter. We both liked it like that, but I thought it wouldn’t have been serious to leave the last fabric of the challenge unsewn, even if it had been given a new use.

So, I cut it in two pieces and sewed a gift wrapping sack with the first one. That was my original idea, in fact. We don’t like single use wrapping paper and the amount of trash it creates, so we have a few sacks in different sizes. But, when I wanted to sew a second sack, I found my daughter wearing the rest of the remnant around her neck.

It is fair to leave it like that, one sack, one scarf, isn’t it?

With this post I say goodbye to 2018, and wish everyone a new year full of peace and creativity.
