Pijama Osha

Bubu quería otro pijama como el que ya no le va bien (ahora lo lleva su hermana). ¡Así que dicho y hecho!

Busqué una talla más grande del patrón Osha de Mi rincón de Mariposas, y los pantalones los dibujé directamente a partir de otros.

Por suerte aún tenía de las mismas telas.

Y Bubu lista para la guerra de cojines.

Bubu wanted another pyjama like the one she once owned (and now wears her sister). Said and done.

I looked for a bigger size of the free pattern Osha of Mi rincón de Mariposas, and the pants are self drafted.

Luckily I still had the same fabrics.

Now Bubu is ready for a cushion fight.

Vestidos de dos en dos – Dresses in pairs

La mejor amiga de Bubu cumplió 4 añitos (hace ya un tiempo, ejem…) y pidió unos zapatos con luz y un vestido con luz…

La parte de los zapatos era fácil. Le compré las mismas botas de agua que tiene Bubu (se encienden unos leds cuando pisas fuerte), pero para el vestido tuve que darle vueltas a la cabeza.

Compré una camiseta ya hecha porque no tenía tiempo de coser un vestido entero del principio (bueno, para ser más exactos, tuneé dos camisetas, porque Bubu tuvo “culo veo, culo quiero”, claro está). Les cosí una falda de media capa a cada una, que dar vueltas es lo que les gusta.

Y después pensando pensando, añadir cualquier tipo de luz no hubiera sido práctico a la hora de hacer la colada, pero se me ocurrió comprar esas cosas que brillan en la oscuridad (¿no quería luz? ¡toma luz! aunque sólo sea de noche), e hice el experimento: las enmarqué en vinilo transparente.

No estaba muy segura de si aguantarían bien los lavados, pero ahora que lleva unos cuantos viajes a la lavadora puedo decir que está como el primer día.

No tengo foto de las dos niñas mareándose juntas, lo siento… pero tengo la de Bubu ensuciándose con el vestido, jejejeje...

Bubu’s best friend turned 4 (a while ago) and asked for shoes with light and a dress with light too…

The shoes part was easy. I bought her the same rain boots Bubu has (they have some light in the sole and it goes on when you step firmly), but for the dress I had to think over.

I bought a T-shirt because I didn’t have time to sew it all from the beginning (well, I bought two t-shirts, I had to make two dresses, of course, Bubu wanted exactly the same…). I sewed a twirl skirt and added to the top.

Attatching some kind of light wouldn’t have been practical for laundry. So, at the end I found these things that glow in the dark and I did the experiment: I framed them with clear vinyl.

I wasn’t sure if the thing was going to last long, but after several travels to the washing machine I can tell it looks like on the first day.

I have no pic of the two girls twirling together, sorry… but of Bubu getting dirty with the dress...

Disfraz de jinete - Horse rider costume

Disfraz de jinete para Bubu, porque está en la clase de "los jinetes" y se disfrazaban todos juntos.

En fieltro todo ello.

Casquillo hecho con el patrón gratis de Ottobre (ya lo utilicé para un gorro de verano hace tiempo), modificando para hacer la visera.

Chaleco de patrón propio (a partir de camiseta), con aplicación de caballo.

Caña de las botas, por no tener ganas ni tiempo de hacer un "cubre botas" entero...

Bolsa impermeable - Impermeable Bag (Pattern by Cucicucicoo)

Me da vergüenza no haberlo publicado antes… Esta bolsa la cosí el año pasado cuando Lisa (@Cucicucicoo) pidió testers del patrón.

Pero bueno, ahora que la estoy usando de nuevo es hora de enseñarla, ¿no?

Pues es perfecta para la piscina o la playa porque el forro interior es impermeable. De esta manera puedo guardar el móvil o cosas importantes a salvo de salpicaduras cuando estoy cerca del agua, y cuando me marcho puedo meter el bikini mojado dentro y no se moja nada más. ¡Súper práctica y más estética que las bolsuchas de plástico!

Para que quedara más marinera le cosí un barco de papel de fieltro. Me chiflan los barquitos de papel.

La página de Lisa merece una visita. Su blog tiene un montón de ideas ecológicas para coser y hacer manualidades. La bolsa de la compra que hice aprovechando tela de un paraguas es un patrón suyo. Y también vende algunos patrones (el de esta bolsa impermeable, por ejemplo).

I’m ashamed I didn’t post about it before… I sewed this bag last summer, when Lisa (@Cucicucicoo) asked for pattern testers.

Now that I’m using it again it’s time to show it!

It’s perfect for the pool or the beach because it’s sewed with waterproof lining. I keep my cellphone and other things safe from splashes when I’m near water, and when I leave the place I can store my wet bikini inside. Really useful!

To give it a maritime look I stitched a felt paper boat on top. I love paper boats!

Lisa’s site is worth a visit, her blog has nice ecological sewing and crafting ideas. The shopping bag I did with the umbrella fabric was another pattern test for her, for example. And she sells a few patterns too in her shop (the wet bag is among them).

Camisetas Frankenstein! – Frankenstein T-shirts!

¡Bubu necesita camisetas! ¡Las del año pasado le van muy justas! Así que sin que sirva de precedente, le he hecho al menos tres ¡¡antes de que llegue el frío!!

En las escuela nos pidieron una muda entera dentro de una cajita para tener “en caso de accidente”. No quería poner prendas nuevas ahí dentro porque (espero!) no las va a usar muy a menudo… Así que cogí una camiseta vieja pero en buen estado, y creé ¡la primera Frankenstein! ¡Jajajaja!

He contado ¡y tiene diez piezas! ¡Incluso el cuello lo he aprovechado! Lo mejor de todo es que me ha gustado el efecto de la espalda en dos partes y de las mangas en tres… ¡seguro que en un futuro lo hago expresamente!

Bubu needs T-shirts! Last year’s ones are too tight… So for once, I have done at least three in advance!!

At school we were asked to bring an entire outfit in a box, to use “in case of accident”. I didn’t want to put new clothes in there, because (I hope!) she won’t be using them that often… So I took an old but not very used T-shirt and created the first Frankenstein!! Hahahaha!!

I counted ten pieces for it! Even the neck was recycelt!! The best part of it, is that I like the effect of the back in two pieces and the arms in three! I’ll do it on purpose in the future!

La siguiente camiseta también es una Frankenstein, la azul. Con restos de hacer una Plantain y la Mamasun. Hilos y más pidió que usáramos lo que teníamos por casa para su “Reto vuelta al cole”, ¡así que me lo tomé al pie de la letra!

The next T-shirt I did is also a Frankenstein, the blue one. With rests of one Plantain and the Mamasun… Hilos y más wanted us to use what we had home for the “Reto vuelta al cole” (~ “Challenge back to school”), so this was a great excuse to do so!

La rayada la hice con un retal del Mercado. Aquí no tuve que trocear nada, qué aburrido… XD

El patrón es el de Serger Pepper que no ha llegado a la luz aún.

Big Sis & Lil’ Sis T-shirts

En un principio solo quería hacer la camiseta “Big Sis”, pero cuando estaba cortando la tela no me pude resistir a cortar para hacer la versión baby…

El patrón de la camiseta grande es otra vez el que Serger Pepper no ha llegado a publicar. Le he dejado más margen de costura y ha quedado grandecita. Para la camiseta pequeña me he inventado el patrón a partir de una camiseta talla 3-6 meses.

He cosido las letras y cerrado el cuello a mano. No sé porqué me vinieron ganas de “costura slow”…

My idea was only doing a “Big Sis” T-shirt at first, but when I was cutting the fabric I couldn’t resist cutting a smallest one…

The pattern for Bubu’s T-shirt is the unreleased one of Serger Pepper again. For the smaller version I traced the pattern from a T-shirt I have for Mini Bubu, size 3-6 months.

I sewed the letters by hand, the neckline too, I don’t know why I felt like doing slow sewing.

La tela de lunares, que por cierto es fucsia, en la foto queda anaranjada, es de Cal Joan. La tela gris es de camisetas recicladas.

The dotted fabric, which is pink by the way and not orange at all like in the pics, is from CalJoan. The grey one comes from recycled T-shirts.
