El fenómeno alpargata ya lo había visto en varios blogs, pero siempre decía que nunca me cosería unas.
Entonces llegó el Sewing Camp 2017, y las alpargatas estaban en
el programa.
Noa (@La costurera entrometida) fue la encargada de llevar a
cabo el taller, y debo admitir que aunque me sintiera un caracol de lenta
cosiéndolas, fue mucho más fácil de lo que me había imaginado.
Usé un fat quarter que me regaló Kiwa Kawaii hace tiempo y
fue una buena elección, ¿verdad? Es súper bonito. Y lo combiné con un algodón
mostaza y un bies para las tiras.
¡Definitivamente me las voy a poner mucho el verano que
viene!
I had seen them many times on sewing blogs, but I always said, I was never going to sew a pair of espadrilles.
Well, then
I took part in the fantastic Sewing Camp 2017, and espadrilles were on the
program.
Noa (@La costurera entrometida) carried out the workshop, and I must say, although I
felt very slowly sewing them, compared to other sewers there, it was easier
than I thought.
I did them
with a beautiful fat quarter Kiwa Kawaii had given me time ago, and it was a
good choice, isn’t it? I combined it with a plain mustard cotton, and some bias
for the ties.

definitely wearing them next summer!!
