Behind Patchcreu
you’ll find Mari Lorente, an entrepreneur mother (a wonder-woman almost, involved in different
projects, always willing to help and a very very nice and positive person), who created the brand about two years ago.
Actually,
she started sewing as a child, doing cross-stitch. But after joining a moms
sewing group in a local sewing school, she began to sew appliquéd T-shirts for
her daughters. She wanted them to be unique and made with love. From then on, she
has never stopped sewing fantastic T-shirts, for little ones and big ones.

Detrás de Patchcreu está Mari Lorente, una madre
emprendedora (una super-woman diría yo, metida en más de un sarao, dispuesta a ayudar en lo que sea y muy pero que muy maja), que creó la marca hace unos dos
años.
En realidad ella empezó a coser de pequeña, haciendo punto
de cruz. Pero después de asistir al grupo de costura para mamis de una conocida
escuela de costura de Gerona, empezó a coser las aplicaciones de las camisetas
de sus hijas, porque quería que fueran hechas por ella y por tanto únicas y con
mucho amor. Desde entonces ya no ha parado de coser sus fantásticas camisetas,
ahora ya para grandes y pequeños. Además de otras cositas.

For the
ones who can take a walk through Girona, her collections “Fulla & Cor de
Girona” are now exhibited in “El Didal”, a sewing themed restaurant near the Cathedral.
