Aquí va la última de mis “12 meses – 12 telas” (reto de
Marujadas de Peluchona).
El primer movimiento al coger esta tela del armario ha sido
ponérmela a modo de pañuelo alrededor del cuello y se lo he enseñado a mi hija.
A las dos nos ha gustado cómo quedaba, pero he pensado que sería muy poco serio
que la última tela del reto se quedara sin costura, aunque fuera dándole un
nuevo uso.
Así que la he cortado en dos, y con la primera mitad he
cosido un saco para envolver regalos, que era mi idea original (no nos gusta el
papel de regalo de un solo uso y la cantidad de desperdicio que genera, tenemos
varios sacos de distintas medidas). Peeeero, no me ha dado tiempo a coser un
segundo saco, porque Bubu ya llevaba puesta la otra mitad del retal en el
cuello.
Es justo dejarlo así, un saco y un pañuelo, ¿verdad?
Con este post me despido por este año y deseo a todo el mundo un
2019 en paz y con mucha creatividad.
Last fabric
of my challenge “12 months – 12 fabrics” (organized by Marujadas de Peluchona).
My first move
after taking the fabric out of the closet was putting it around my neck as a
scarf and showing my daughter. We both liked it like that, but I thought it
wouldn’t have been serious to leave the last fabric of the challenge unsewn,
even if it had been given a new use.
So, I cut
it in two pieces and sewed a gift wrapping sack with the first one. That was my
original idea, in fact. We don’t like single use wrapping paper and the amount
of trash it creates, so we have a few sacks in different sizes. But, when I wanted
to sew a second sack, I found my daughter wearing the rest of the remnant
around her neck.
It is fair
to leave it like that, one sack, one scarf, isn’t it?
