Snood!

Marta, una compañera de trabajo, me ha pasado la silllita del coche que vamos a usar para Bubu ahora. No quería nada a cambio pero le cosí un snood para agradecérselo. ¡Espero que le gustara!

Seguí el tutorial de La vie en DIY. Y no es el primero que coso, ya hice dos iguales, uno para mí y uno para Bubu.

Marta, a workmate, gave me the car safety seat we’ll be now using for Bubu. She didn’t want nothing in return, but I sewed a snood for her as a thank you gift. I hope she liked it!!

I followed the tutorial of La vie en DIY. And it isn’t the first one I sew, I already did two, one for me, one for Bubu.

Sweater for Bubu (Pattern by Serger Pepper)

Quería acabar con la tela que usé para mi cardigan, y pensé qué podía hacer para Bubu con ella. Un jersey para la primavera era la mejor opción.

Saqué el patrón de camiseta de Serger Pepper (sí, el que usé para la camiseta “Pacman”… ya os dije que este patrón se ha convertido en mi básico) ¡y listo!

Como no tenía suficiente tela para las mangas enteras, usé sudadera no perchada negra. Un poco oscuro el conjunto… pero me gusta. Le añadí un corazón aplicado y unas coderas, cosidos en rosa fosforito.

I wanted to get rid of the fabric I used for my cardigan, and I thought about what could I do for Bubu. A spring sweater was the best option.

I grasped at Serger Pepper’s T-shirt pattern (yes, the one I used for the Pacman T-shirt, I told you it has become my basic top pattern) and ready!

Because I didn’t have enough fabric to complete the sleeves, I used black French terry. A bit dark the whole thing… but I like it. I added a heart appliqué and elbow patches, topstitched in neon pink.

Pacman T-shirt (Pattern by Serger Pepper)

Irene de Serger Pepper pidió hace tiempo testers para una camiseta que iba a ser parte de algo más grande. Este patrón se ha convertido en un básico para los tops de Bubu. Desgraciadamente Irene aún está trabajando en el proyecto (bueno, de hecho siempre lleva mil proyectos al mismo tiempo, ¡no para nunca!), así que todavía no está disponible.

Irene (@ Serger Pepper) asked us some time ago to test a T-shirt pattern that was going to be part of something bigger. This has become my basic pattern for Bubu’s tops. Unfortunately for you Irene’s still working on that project (well, she’s always running thousand projects at the same time, busy bee!!), so it isn’t available.

Cosí la camiseta con punto rayado del mercado, que ya habíais visto en mi camiseta de tirantes de la primavera pasada.

Para el aplique y cuello usé una camiseta vieja que quería tirar. Suerte que a la hora de coser aún no lo había hecho, porque me di cuenta de que me iría perfecta como tela de contraste.

I sewed it with this striped jersey from the market I already used for my tank top last spring.

For the appliqué and neck I used an old T-shirt I wanted to throw away. Lucky me I hadn’t thrown it away because then I realized it was going to be perfect as contrasting fabric.

Y aquí lo que le he hecho a Victoria del blog La casa de Laia.

Una camiseta hecha sin patrón, según sus medidas, añadiendo centímetros aquí y allí… creo que al final le va grande… aixxx…

No hice dobladillo en las mangas, le añadí una pieza de la tela de contraste del cuello que se aguanta con un snap. Y elástico en la cintura.

(Snap que vuelve a su casa por cierto, jajaja porque era de Snapeando)

And here what I did for Victoria (@ La casa de Laia).

A T-shirt, done without pattern, only taking into account Victoria’s measures, adding centimeters here and there… I think it turned out too big at the end…

I did no hem in the sleeves, but added a little piece of the contrasting fabric kept in place with a snap. And elastic for the waist.
